  14. ********** System Requirements **********
  15.  
  16. This control panel only works with the AppleShare 3.0, AppleShare 
  17. 7.1, and future AppleShare Chooser extensions under both System 6 
  18. and System 7.  It does not work with the AppleShare 2.0 Chooser 
  19. extension under System 6 or the AppleShare 7.0 or 7.0.1 Chooser 
  20. extension under System 7 - the configuration features just aren't 
  21. there.

  23. The AppleShare Chooser extension must be in the "Extensions" 
  24. folder under System 7, or in the "System Folder" under System 6.

  26. ********** What's it do? **********
  27.  
  28. The AppleShareSetup control panel lets you set or disable various 
  29. options supported by the AppleShare Chooser extension.  With 
  30. AppleShareSetup, you can:
  31.  
  32. * Make specific AppleShare alerts "time-out" after a set amount of 
  33. time.  For example, you can make the "The file server is closing down 
  34. in x minute(s)" alert automatically dismiss itself after 10 seconds.
  35.  
  36. * Completely disable all AppleShare alerts.
  37.  
  38. * Disable AppleShare "Greeting" messages.
  39.  
  40. * Disable some auto-mount features.
  41.  
  42. Full Balloon Help is provided under System 7.  Turn on Balloon 
  43. Help (and read your AppleShare manuals) if you can't figure this 
  44. control panel out.
